Introduction

Your kids will love that the Razor A2 Kick Scooter is cool and easy to use. This scooter is made of durable aluminum and is built to last and it can support a rider that’s up to 143 pounds which means your 5 year old can continue use this scooter for long time.

Razor A2 Scooter

The original kick scooter just got a whole lot better, making it even more fun for kids and teens alike. Though it’ll never replace the internal combustion engine, the Razor A2 will get your child from point A to point B much quicker than on foot alone, and requires just a few scoots of one’s shoes in the process and plus, it’s a blast to use.

Also the handlebars adjust to accommodate the height of its rider so your child can use this scooter for years without having to feel like he’s grown out of it.

The wheels are 98mm, which means they are made for riding.  They are placed on the scooter inline-style and have a shock system that is springless making for a much smoother ride and so you can really go the distance

The break is strategically placed in the rear to make it easy for the rider to slow down or stop when they need to.  It’s safe, and it makes it also easy for them to do some tricks when they are trying to show off their riding skills.

Here’s what one of the owners had to say about the Razor A2 Scooter

The scooter is MUCH more fun than I’d expected. The wheels spin very fast and easily. Both kids are playing with it and we’re likely to buy a second for our older boy’s birthday in January. The construction is sturdy, it collapses very simply into a portable size our 6 year old can carry himself. This is quite the upgrade from the plastic scooter the kids had been using and I would definitely recommend helmet-use for all but the most cautious riders. Very fun!  (Sylvan S)

Who the A2 is suitable for

Comparing the different Razor models for kids:

Razor A1 – the original scooter, no back ‘wheelie’ bar, 98 mm wheels, must weight under 143 pounds.
Razor A2 – is the same as A1 but with wheelie bar and ‘shock absorber’ on front, 98 mm wheels, again must weight under 143 pounds
Razor A3 – same as A2 but with 125 mm wheels, but still under 143 pounds

Razor A4 – has been renamed the Razor Pro and holds up to 220 pounds, is suitable for older kids.

Razor A5 Pro – very different than the first three with much bigger wheels, a bigger deck and holds up to 220 pounds

Conclusion

Bottom line the A1, A2 and A3 are suitable for younger kids under age 10 and older kids should consider the A4 or A5

Comparison of A1, A2, A3, and A5 – for younger kids any of the A1, 2, or 3 are about the same First off picked this up from Amzn warehouse for $29 so I was pleased with that – box was damaged but product was perfect. The kids in the neighborhood (between 5 and 8 yrs old) love these little scooters. If you are trying to figure out the differences between the A1, A2, A3, and A5/Pro it’s basically as follows:A1: original, no back ‘wheelie’ bar (look closely at picture and you will see the difference in A1 vs A2), 98mm wheels, under 143 lbsA2: same as A1 but with wheelie bar and ‘shock absorber’ on front (look at pics to see this), 98mm wheels, under 143 lbsA3: same as A2 but with 125mm wheels, still under 143 lbsA5/Pro: pretty much different all the way around, much bigger wheels, bigger deck, bigger hands, and holds up to 220 lbsThe takeaway for me is that the A1, A2, or A3 would all be suitable for younger kids (say less than 10?), while older kids and adults will want the A5.Hope this helps

Great product. We purchased three of these Razor A2 … Great product. We purchased three of these Razor A2 Kick Scooters. We also own three other models of razor scooters. The age range of our kids that utilize these is age 6 through age 15. They all really enjoy the product. They all like this new version over the previous versions we have. They agree the wheels allow for more speed, a smoother ride, and a better ability to control and maneuver the scooter.

It folds up nice and small that she is able to fold it … My 20 year old daughter bought this to cruise around college campus. She loves the grips because they provide cushion and do not get cold in the Utah weather. It folds up nice and small that she is able to fold it and put it in her backpack. It saves her 35 minutes of walking each day leaving more time to sleep and study.Smooth ride and easy to stop.
